Working with
us
Our people
We are proud of our position as the second largest employer
in North East Fife. Generations of families have worked at Curtis, and
it is still usual to find members of the same family working in different
departments within the mill. The average length of employee service at
Curtis is over twenty-five years.
Curtis Fine Papers plays an integral part in the local community, building
relations and carrying out joint activities with schools, churches, the
local ranger service and other organisations.
The global nature of our business attracts employees from a diverse
range of cultures and backgrounds. As an equal opportunities employer,
Curtis Fine Papers is committed to ensuring that no job applicant or
employee is unlawfully discriminated against.
Organisational Development
Curtis is committed
to successfully developing the business, building a working environment
which encourages effective change, modernisation and flexibility to implement
and deliver future goals. Our ‘Leading
Change’ programme will ensure
our senior managers have the leadership skills and momentum to take Curtis
forward for the future.
We support, through a joint learning agreement with our unions, a core
skills programme for all staff, delivering IT skills and enhancing learning
throughout the whole company.
Investors in People
As an Investor in People
since 1998, we have already recognised that our success
depends on our people. Ensuring employees have the right knowledge,
skills and motivation to work effectively enhances our business performance.
